1950s Vintage Brocade Dress

Fabulous satin brocade off-the-shoulder cocktail dress. Fully lined and with the usual excellent detail that goes with vintage dresses, e.g. numerous little hooks to hold down the zipper panel, a strip of black trim on the inside waist which hooks together. The sides of the bodice are boned. The front of the dress has diagonal cross-over panels which gives it that va-va-voom effect a la Marilyn Monroe. These panels also carry over to the back. Lovely fitted shape (although not shown to it's best effect because it's too small for my mannekin and I had to display the dress perched in front of the mannekin rather than actually 'surrounding' it). Beautiful colour - a turquoise/emerald green. Condition excellent.

Size: Bust 33/34", Waist 24", Hips 34". Length 32" from underarm to hem, but there is a large hem, so the dress could be lengthened.
